climbing:08 the climbing calendar from Keith Sharples Photography

climbing: 08 back from the printers and available now…

climbing: 08 features headlining images of Steve ‘bat hanging’ McClure on Overshadow at Malham Cove. Graded at F9a+, Overshadow is probably the hardest sport route in the UK at the present time. Showcased also are three awesome ‘sea-side’ locations in the UK; LPT, North Wales as well as Berry Head and Anstey’s Cove in Devon. Action from the ‘away-from-it-all’ backwater of the Slipstones, North Yorkshire, the ‘hot-rock’ venue that is Phra Nang Peninsula, Thailand the bolt-clipping paradises of Terradets, Spain and Isilli, Sardinia as well as more grit/lime from the Pennine arena and the bouldering-heaven that is Fontainebleau complete the line up.

Bundled with climbing: 08 is the 2008 Year Planner and Poster. Printed back-to-back, you can choose between organisation or inspiration. Neil Gresham is featured on the Year Planner and Steve McClure on the Poster.

Supporting climbing: 08 are the free-to-view and free-to-download Climbing FactFiles posted on this website. These are full of essential info on the featured climbs and crags, alternative route/crag suggestions and with went-to-go, where-to-stay, where-to-shop and which guides to use beta.
